Scenes from before, during, and after the @knoxvil Scenes from before, during, and after the @knoxvillebookfestival. 📚 I had the best time, I met so many great readers, authors, and vendors, and I left with less books than I came with. 🙌 More than that, I left inspired, excited, and hopeful for what’s ahead. I damn near quit all together after Political Gain, but I thankfully had a lot of people in my corner who helped me move through those really low weeks. I’m finally truly excited to release Political Capital, nerves and all. When I left on day one, a cardinal landed on the fence right in front of my car. He sat there and looked at me for a long time. If you know me, you know cardinals are one of my signs. In that moment, it felt like I was being told “yes.” I really needed that. One of my 2026 goals was to do more events and I h One of my 2026 goals was to do more events and I have TWO coming up! The first is @knoxvillebookfestival this weekend, May 2-3. I’ll have all my books for sale, and I’ll be on a romance/romantasy panel at 2pm on 5/2 (my first one!!) Then, @knoxsocialclub is holding the @summerbookfest June 12-13 with SO MANY FUN THINGS happening! There’s a pre-party, a (free!) book and vendor fair, meet and greets, photo ops, and so much more!
