The last several weeks have been absolute upheaval as I packed up my life in Knoxville, left my full time job, and moved to a whole new state. Life right now is still chaotic and full of boxes and furniture that needs to be put together and waiting for my things from Knoxville to be delivered. It’s all good things, even when those good things are *a lot* sometimes. Celebrating my last Monday in an office! 🎉🥂 Starti Celebrating my last Monday in an office! 🎉🥂 Starting Monday, I will be fully self-employed as a marketing consultant, and I’m joining @tsgmainlinephiladelphia as their Marketing and Events Director, too! This move is equal parts exciting and terrifying. I’m going to share a lot of this journey as a newly self-employed woman essentially starting over in Philadelphia both here and on TikTok (same username!). This move also gives me more time to write, the thing I love most. I’ll be working on getting POLITICAL DAMAGE into your hands in November, but I’m also entering the querying trenches with my second chance baseball romance this fall (send good vibes!). Heck, I might even try to do something with that witchy pilot I wrote a few years ago… start a book club… maybe even hold a reading retreat or resurrect my podcast. I have so many ideas! I’ll also be sharing my professional work over on @sarahwylandconsulting - it’s a brand new space, but with almost 15 years of marketing experience (!!!) I’m sure I can fill it up quickly. And yes, OF COURSE I’ll still be teaching Pure Barre! I’m so excited to join the @purebarre_exton team in August! So many changes, all at once, but I’m ready to see where this adventure takes me. Now, to finish the last of the packing…

I’m sad now. All 426 (er, 427… I bought another I’m sad now. All 426 (er, 427… I bought another one today 🫣) of my books are packed into 15 12”x16” boxes to be moved to Philadelphia. The 14 pictured are going with the movers while 1 box of “special” books is going in the car with me and the pup. Those are my autographed and special edition books. But my new place? About to have the library of my dreams with plenty more space for MORE books. Send good vibes and well wishes for my collection! And for me. Moving is HARD.
