I drove out to the most enchanting bookstore and e I drove out to the most enchanting bookstore and emporium today - @wellingtonsquarebookshop in Exton! They also have a coffee bar. 😍 I left with a book of poetry, but I’m going to need to go back for the Dolly mug I can’t stop thinking about.
PHILLY/MAIN LINE ROMANCE AUTHORS! I randomly poste PHILLY/MAIN LINE ROMANCE AUTHORS! I randomly posted on Threads a few weeks ago to ask if any area romance authors might be interested in a meet up. I figured maybe one or two may want to get coffee, and it was a way for me, someone new to the area and looking for her people, to maybe make a few new friends. To my surprise, more than two dozen folks expressed interest AND @shopbrokenspine graciously offered to host! And so - our first romance author meet up is the calendar! This event is for authors only, whether you’re published or working on your first manuscript. Writing can be lonely, and this is a chance to meet fellow romance authors, talk about what we’re working on, what we’re reading, and the ups and downs of the journey. And, hopefully, you’ll make some new friends, too! If this goes well, I’m hoping to make this a quarterly or so thing, maybe meeting up around the Main Line. Yesterday, I announced the release date for my nex Yesterday, I announced the release date for my next book, POLITICAL DAMAGE. Today, I finished the first draft of book one in my firefighter romance series. 🥹 123,500 words exactly, more than half of which have been written in the last 3 months. It needs a heavy edit, and then another, but this will be the first book I take out in search of an agent. And so, I type “THE END” with a quiet hope that things are about to get really, really good. 💕
