We did it! We made it through the first days of “real life” post-holiday. Things looked questionable for me around 2 PM on Wednesday when the clock seemingly stopped, but I somehow pushed through.
My first weekend of 2019 is going to be quite fitness-themed (shocker). I’m teaching a few barre classes, training my instructors in our advanced class flows, and will be knocking out the last of the week’s training sessions today and tomorrow. There’s a heavy snatch on the training agenda for tomorrow and I’m entirely too excited about the prospect. I know my snatch technique has gotten (a lot) better, and I’m itching to see what that equates to on the bar.
Whole30 is off to a good start as well. Today is day three and so far, I wouldn’t say I’m feeling great (the sugar detox is real), but I’m also not entirely hangry either. I may have just jinxed myself…
I’ve published a lot of content this week – a blog a day, in fact! – so I’ll leave you to go back and read those – leave me book recommendations, please! – and start turning my attention to next week’s content. There’s some good stuff on the way!
