I’m super behind on Christmas shopping this year. I only just made a list of who to buy presents for. I’m blaming it on how late Thanksgiving was. I’ve had my tree up and my lights outside since the Sunday after Thanksgiving though!
If you’re like me and still need to pick up a few gifts, I’ve got some ideas for the fitness lover on your list.
May I present to you the 2019 Strong By Sarah Holiday Gift Guide.
Athleta 7/8 Elation Leggings
My love for Athleta’s 7/8 Elation leggings is endless. These are the only leggings I wear in the gym. They’re seamless, feel like butter against your skin, hold up well over time, and perhaps most importantly, they are squat proof. I cannot recommend them enough.
Omle Athletica Brynn Top
I’m very picky about sports bras. I want support, coverage, and if we’re being honest here, I want cute. I love, love, love the Omle Athletica Brynn top as it checks all the boxes, plus looks great on all shapes and sizes. I have it in blue and red.
I’m constantly on the hunt for a great water bottle. I like my S’well for traveling, but it’s not my favorite in the gym. I try to avoid any bottle that has a twist off top as when I’m between sets or grabbing a quick sip of water mid-WOD, I don’t want to fumble with the top. This Bubba water bottle was a cheap Target find and would make a great stocking stuffer.
I hadn’t worn a FitBit for years, but when I started working with my nutrition coach, I got one to track my steps. My mind was blown by how little I moved during the day while at my office job. I don’t furiously go after hitting a certain step goal each day, but it is a great reminder to move, and it tracks things like sleep and active hours as well. I have the Charge 3 personally!
I started using FRÉ products in September and I can honestly say my skin has never looked better. I started with the 123FRE set – they sent it to me to try – which is formatted especially for women who sweat. I loved it so much I bought replacements and tried other products. I recommend the Purify Me cleanser, Brighten Me eye treatment, Detox Me mask, and my ride-or-die, Refine Me replenishing gel. Use code ‘SARAW’ to get 30% off through the end of December! Goes down to 15% off after that (Yes, I’m an ambassador now. And while I do get a little kickback, I’d buy these products – and do buy these products – even if I weren’t). The 30% can also be stacked with FRE’s 12 Days of Advent calendar deals.
Does your fitness lover have a certain type of workout they love? Yoga or barre or CrossFit, perhaps? I can guarantee they would love to find a package of classes under their tree. Most gyms and studios offer gift cards and a lot are running specials for the holiday season and beginning of the New Year.
Every year, my dad asks me what I want for Christmas. Every year, I tell him one thing, always something I wouldn’t buy myself without a lot of hemming and hawing. And every year, on Christmas, he gives me cash or a gift card to get it myself because places like Lululemon and Ulta terrify him. And I love that gift card/cash because it lets me get exactly what I want. If you’re feeling stuck, a gift card to their favorite fitness apparel store is a great idea. Make it feel a little more special by dressing up the packaging if you’re worried about it appearing as an impersonal gift.
I bought my first pair of NOBULLS out of desperation. The more popular CrossFit shoes weren’t working with my wide feet. It was love at first wear with my NOBULLS. They are light, attractive, and very well made. My first pair is nearly two years old and very well loved and still hold up great in the gym. Plus? They pair really well with my favorite athleisure looks!
A girl can never have enough bags, can she? If your fitness lover is like me and carries a lot of equipment to the gym, this Reebok duffle bag is fantastic (I have a similar one!). If they’re more of a yoga or barre girl, something like this find from Lululemon would be great – I had a similar Lululemon bag I loved before my Reebok bag!
Hair Ties & Headbands
You can’t go wrong adding a pack of hair ties or perhaps a headband or two to a stocking or gift bag. I happen to really like the headbands from Athleta as some of them have a rubber-like lining on the inside that helps them stay in place.
That’s it for this year’s Strong By Sarah Holiday Gift Guide. What are you buying the fitness lover on your list?
