15 Positive Daily Affirmations + How To Use Them

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I’ve started posting daily affirmations in my stories. Those affirmations come from Gabby Bernstein’s Super Attractor deck and I share whatever card I pull for myself each morning. 

I’ve gotten a lot of comments from followers that say they love when I post my daily affirmations, as well as questions on how to work with affirmations. 

So, let’s talk about daily affirmations. 

WHAT ARE AFFIRMATIONS? 

Affirmations are phrases that are short and powerful and meant to help you develop a positive mindset and/or focus on your goals and desires. By making daily affirmations a part of your routine, you are helping reprogram your thoughts to a more positive place. Repeating an affirmation helps engrain the thought into your subconscious mind which in turn helps change behaviors, habits, actions, and reactions. Daily affirmations help you align with what you want and what you’re moving towards.

HOW TO WORK WITH AFFIRMATIONS 

There is no wrong way to work with an affirmation. You can come up with your own – just write a short, concise sentence that reflects the way you want to feel or what you want out of life – or you can use one found from this blog, a Google search, or a book. From there, you can repeat them to yourself throughout the day, write them out, post them where you can see them, or any combination of the above. 

Personally, I pull a card each morning, write down what it says, and depending on what it is, may or may not return to it for the day. I have other affirmations that I have written out on post-its and have around my desk and on my fridge where I’ll see them often. I’ve also written them out over and over, but I don’t recommend this if you associate writing lines with punishment. For me, the act of writing reinforces the belief, so it works. 

15 POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATIONS

Choose any one of the below daily affirmations – or several of them – and begin to implement them in your day-to-day life. Over time, note how your thoughts change and your life begins to have a more positive slant to it. 

  1. I am enough. 
  2. I love and accept myself. 
  3. I am worthy. 
  4. I deserve good things. 
  5. I love who I am and who I’m becoming. 
  6. I have enough. I do enough. I am enough. 
  7. I allow my true self to flourish. 
  8. I allow creativity to flow through me. 
  9. I attract people who love me for who I am. 
  10. I am surrounded by love and support. 
  11. I choose to see through the eyes of love. 
  12. I deeply and completely accept myself. 
  13. I am a magnet for love and abundance. 
  14. I am present in every moment.
  15. I believe in myself and my abilities. 

You can also combine these affirmations into one powerful affirmation such as “I am worthy of and deserve good things and am surrounded by love and support.” 

Using daily affirmations may feel strange at first. Like any new habit, it takes practice and dedication to see a difference in your day-to-day life. Daily affirmations might be simple, but they are powerful. Give them a try.
